If its not 100% human hair, absolutely not - It will crisp up and get hard/rough and lose texture

Call up the salon that put the extensions in, or the store/company you bought them from, and ask- they'll know better than anybody.

You need to make sure the hair isn't plastic, an iron will melt the hair. i would wet it and use a hair dryer, but not too close.
