I've known girls to bend over backwards to please their man but when it comes to doing something good for themselves, they tend to second guess the decision.

Sweet heart I dont know where you heard that. Maybe it's just me but i bend backwards for no one but family I care about. Im the type of girl thats does more for her self then any man on earth. I believe that if a man wants something he better do it him self unless theres a real good reason why he cant. The women you know who do this need to check into reality hotel and notice that no matter what you do for a man it doesnt always work so make sure you come first.

For me it's just need to learn be less self-sacrificing (or that is what I've been told). The only problem is when you are with a SELFISH man if you are so unselfish and self-sacrificing, you get treated without the Respect you deserve. my mother does that still for my father after almost 30 years of marriage, and my maternal grandmother was the exact same way, with my grandfather for their marriage from 1948 until he passed in 2004. But they did well in their choices. WHY are such woman so self-sacrificing? Because there is more happiness in giving than in receiving.
Now of course you don't Depend on anyone male or female (especially parents) But if you are the self-sacrificing type of gal (like me) then it's better, if you going to date, to fall for a man who's more unselfish than you are. So that way you both spoil each other.

It is how most girls are brought up. Yeah it sucks, but think about it . I was lucky to have a mother teach me not to depend on a man for everything and now I am a very independent young woman.

i'm able to assure you it is going the two methods. i've got basically with a bit of luck talked my daughter out of paying for for her boyfriend an Armani look ahead to Christmas. She is a student and does not have a job. My different daughter offered her boyfriend an x-field. i'm in all probability nonetheless paying it off.

that is exactly how i am and that is because i am submissive and old fashioned i guess i mean when i really carea bout someone i will do anything for them even if it means neglecting something that i need or want i mean maybe it is just cause we are so insecure and just want to be loved i mean who really knows.

Because women want to please, it's our nature. I dont always agree with it but it is. If you find a good man he will do the same for you so it balances out.
