usually a function + F1 - F12 key... look for a logo
also, dont do it, u want the screen dim, save battery!

When the laptop first turns on you will have a choice to hit either F2 or F1 or even delete to enter setup. Some computers show nothing at all but these keys will still work. Once in the setup area, you can make the change on brightness between AC/DC

No, go to the desktop screen, left click on open space. Click Properties. Go to the tab that says appearance, there will be a choice for power settings. Click the one that says ALWAYS ON. that will help you out!

Somwhere in the "power savings" or "power options" - dont remember exactly where, but I got my dell to do so - the battery life is a little shorter, however so be careful.
