Ok, though I know this sounds stupid, where does someone report someone who's visa expired 5 years ago? This person was here on a greencard, it expired 5 years ago, he has been working etc until this past week when his employer popped him. Now he has merely sitting around waiting until he can get the money together to go apply for a new green card. I wouldn't think he should be allowed to just sit here in the US after having let his status lapse 5 years ago and go simply apply for a new visa. I have been all over the ICE website and the only thing I see is the tip line, which after an hour on hold I have given up on. In this day and age there should be an easier way to report such people. Does anyone out there have any alternatives other than this bloody tip line for reporting illegals in the US?

So, we should allow anyone and everyone who wishes to come intot he US in. Regardless of the rule of law, the safety of our fellow Americans, and the fact that it is all the ones that add up to the 15 million illegals presently here. The fact is, I own my own business and you can bet for sure if I hired him I would get nailed faster than anything for employing him, but according to the sentiment of most of you all that have responded thus far it is fine for him to be here breaking the law. Fine so be it, I sincerly hope one or more of you owns your own business, hires someone who is illegal, and then gets fined out the tail end. Or how about if that illegal you say should stay turns out to be the next Atta? Well it shouldn't matter because you tell everyone to just leave it alone.

Wow, what did he do to you? Ok Ok so he's illegal, I bet you have run into other illegal activity in your life before and haven't run to authorities, have you or a friend ever driven under the influence of alcohol? have you ever known someone who stole something? have you ever lied to someone. Point is that I bet you are not perfect, and wouldn't want anyone telling on you. Have you ever lived in a 3rd world country? No, you can't choose where you are born and god owns this land NOT man, I know borders are here for a reason, but come on, I remember hearing that all men are created equal, what right does any man have to tattle on anyone else because he thinks he is better than him. But what ever send him back, I'm sure it will make you feel better to send a man back to hell, than just deal with the fact that you know an illegal. I mean is he a child molester? murderer? is he stealing? Collecting Welfare???? No he was working and got fired, he didn't quite to go on welfare. You should spend more energy finding convicts than someone who poses NO threat to you or your family. Sorry but you make me sad, sad to see how much hate their is in this world, which is gods world.,

Its not like the guy came over illegally. He has a greencard for pete's sake, thats more than a lot of people. If he is making an effort to get it renewed, what is it to you?

If he is not working, then it is not illegal for him to be here. If he manages to get a new visa, then it will not be illegal for him to work here either. Maybe you should focus on figuring out how to not be such an asshole. And you're right, you do sound stupid.

The best and easiest thing is to put it in writing. Get a stamp and mail. After that, it's in their corner and probably nothing will become of the situation. So, why waste your time any further?

Is he trying to get a real green card or a fake one? If he is trying to get a real green card, I don't see what the problem is. It's the ones that get fake documents that I have a beef with.

I am surprised you can't find INS on internet.Call your local police dept. and ask them.Do not give up on this.He is here illegally and should be reported.These kinds of people make me mad and we have to take a stand!
