What did they do to betray me? Did they eat the last peanut butter cup, or sleep with my brother?

I was in a 13 year relationship, and was betrayed. I don't think that you should stay with some one that id not going to be true to you. If they are looking somewhere else then they are not happy with you, and will always keep looking to find something better in their eyes. I would just toss in the towel now, before you put in any more time with someone that don't really love you and get out there and find the person that will.

it's really hard to continue on with someone after they betrayed u but the only way u will know if u can do it or not is by trying to leave them alone and seeing what happens....if u can't bare to leave them even after all that bs they put u through then obviously ur feelings are too strong and u may have to find a way to look past what they did and give them another chance with u...u have to decide if it's worse living with them or without them in the long run

Nope because in the first place he evidently doesn't love you and in the second place you would never trust him again so the relationship would end sooner or later and he might blame it on you for being too controlling - then you'd have wasted more time and be even more heart sore - forget him, move on - if he can't respect you then he doesn't deserve you!!!

I would say yes.because im in the same situation now,and if the individual means real buisness about u then u should forgive them and move on with your lives.I'm very glad i chose to forgive him,I couldn't be more happier.Always remember this,is that love is unconditional and it dont leave overnight. You would only make yourself miserable if you dont follow your heart!

No...if the betrayal were something like getting cheated on, I'd never forgive them. I'd never be able to trust them again, and always wonder if it were going to happen again. They would become just that... someone I LOVED, past tense.
