I'm a man and I don't fart in bed, I hang my asshole over the side.

Believe me, its not just in bed. We fart all the time. Its just more noticable in bed when its quiter. And the covers trap the smell well, letting it leak up to the only opening at the top of the duvet near your head.
Thats if your partner has not already thrust your head under the covers to have a good whiff.

LOL! Good question,as I woman I am curious to...and I think the answer if you were to ask most men is " WELL, IT IS MY BED" and they think they can be as "comfortable" (translation: gross) as they want to be...and so no matter how unwelcome it makes you feel, you let them know how you feel, but then next time (and there will be one) just prepare yourself and get some scented candles (or whatever air freshener works for you) and relax in your own romantic ambience of your favorite scent.

tell me about it my boyfriend stayed over last night and he was farting in his sleep! he didnt even notice me spraying air freshener in the room. he said it must of been a dodgy pint of stella that he had during the pub quiz mixing with the spicy chicken burger he had afterwards.
my advice is to make sure they dont eat spicy stuff before bed time.
