Elizabeth's child is your first cousin once removed. Full cousins are in the same generation. This is also known as first and a half cousin.

I think you are Elizabeth's child's first cousin, once removed, because there is a generation between you..
If your grandparents are siblings, you are 2nd cousins. so your children are second cousins.
You think you are confused? My dad married his half-niece, and her son was my step-brother and first cousin, once removed. . My grandfather was his great grandfather. My step-mother was my first-cousin (half).
I grew up calling my cousins my aunts, since they were all trying to avoid discussing it. I am just grateful she was too old to have kids, or I would have had sisters who were cousins. EEEHHHYEWW

It signifies that there are 2 extra generations on one fringe of the relations tree than on the different. Your cousin's newborn is your cousin once bumped off; your cousin's grandchild is your cousin two times bumped off, etc.

Second cousin to any of her children. Your children would be second cousin once removed. Do a search for cousin relations online and there are tables that you can look at that tell you all the relations.

you are her childs first cousin one removed, because you and the liz are cousins, so the child is removed from you by one generation. If you have a child, it will be 2nd cousins to liz's child, and first cousin once removed to liz
