It depends on the quality of your local public schools, and of the level of education of your parents. If the local public schools are considered dangerous and low-quality, and you have smart, professional parents with college degrees, then homeschooling would be a great option. If you live in a great public school district, with highly qualified teachers and up-to-date school facilities, and your parents aren't anything special in the brains department, then you would be better off attending public school.
If you choose to homeschool, be sure you have the option to participate in extra-curricular activities with other kids your age. Otherwise you'll end up socially stunted. And if you attend public school, make sure you still make time for your family and your church - school isn't everything.
However you choose, commit yourself to your studies, and you'll do very well.
Good luck!

Anyone who says public school is "always better" doesn't live in an inner city district where 3rd graders are being suspended for beating schoolmates and bringing knives to school. BTDT & wouldn't have sent my children there for all the money in the world.
Similarly, public school is not representative of the real world. No where but in daycare & education do we warehouse large groups of same-aged individuals (well, maybe retirement communities but even those have some heterogeneity). In the real world, adults interact socially & professionally with people of many different ages and backgrounds.
Homeschoolers can more closely approximate the real world with respect to ages, although there is a risk you may not expose yourself to individuals with a variety of backgrounds and personal beliefs. The social aka "real world" argument is spurious. If you make an modest effort, you can easily involve yourself in activities with other children your age from a variety of backgrounds.
The decision should be based on where you will get the strongest, highest quality education. If the public school is not meeting your needs and homeschool resources are available to you, you should homeschool. If your parents or guardians are not supportive of homeschooling and your public school has strong, safe programs, you should attend public school.

I don't know at what level of schooling you currently are, but that doesn't really matter anyway.
I think you should go to public school (or even private, if you want) because it is a closer representation of the real world. Going to school with other kids will help you form friendships and will help you get to know yourself far better than you would, being homeschooled. I am not putting down homeschooling--it is a great option... I'm just partial to formal schooling because I've had classmates who had previously been homeschooled, and they've said they like school better.
It is ultimately your choice but remember to weigh the pros and cons :) Good luck!

If you intend to go to college, then you need to think about going to a school, public or private. Your GPA factors into your college admission. Some people don't do well on standardized tests and can use a high GPA and class ranking to get into a good college. I don't believe homeschooled students have GPA or class rankings. So, unless you are really good with SATs, I think it is wise to have GPA and rankings as a backup.
Some state universities give automatic admission to students solely because of high class ranking. Check with your state universities to see if that is the case.

Public school has many pluses, and as many minus. In public school you are bombarded by drugs, sex and peer pressure to conform.
Home school has the same - there are many pluses you can learn at your own pace, the downside is you can get very lonely, unless you can find clubs and a social outlet, and too you have to be your own boss and force yourself to learn what is needed to learn so that you may enter college, public school you have teachers and principles making you do the work.
It depends what you want a reasonably safe environment to learn out your own pace and not be obsessed with grades. Or forced by closeness to be friends you wouldn't have picked if you had a freewill chose to do so.

If you have a reliable skilled person home schooling you, and if you feel like you will truly learn in a 1-1 enviroment, go for it.....but realize that you will need to be with others your age to maintain a social enviroment to become a well-rounded indiviual who can cope with today's worldly problems.
