Last year there were some stores in October that were playing Christmas music, decorated with trees and all. Does that bother you or not?

Yes it does. Last year I was shopping and I heard Christmas music playing on the speakers outside. It wasn't even Thanksgiving yet!!!! I try to get my shopping before done before Christmas just to avoid the crowds, the cold, and the idiots who don't know how to drive that come into the "big" city. The city I live in isn't big but people who don't live here and live about an hour to two hours away think it's big. Anyway....Let the seasons bring the holidays. Retailers are just too pushy when it comes to the holidays by forcing the next big holiday on you when it is 2 months away.

Yes, it bothers me alot. Especially Christmas!!! I have three children, and the Christmas Holiday shopping season is very stressful. It seems like they are trying to rush everything. It make me mad when I go into a store with one of my children and they already have Christmas stuff out in October, because my kids drive me crazy up until Christmas morning.

YES, I think it is a bit early for lit trees on display. I only like Halloween early so I can get lots of candy and have my huge costume party for adults and children. I get gifts for the winter holidays all year round and decorate after I eat on Thanksgiving, and it does not take me long to do Thanksgiving. I do love to decorate and enjoy the colors of the seasons. I am glad we have stores so we do not have to go out and catch or grow our food like our ancestors did.

Yes....I hate it. I think they should not put out decorations for a holiday until it is the next one.....don't put out things for Thanksgiving until Halloween is over, don't put out things for Christmas until Thanksgiving is over, etc....I am so sick of looking at the decorations by the time the holiday rolls around that I don't even feel like decorating anymore!!

Drives me nuts - I started seeing Christmas stuff in the stores a couple of weeks ago! I'm dreading hearing Jingle Bell Rock for the first time, it'll probably be early September!

I HATE that!
I notice no sooner does one holiday end and they already have stuff up for the next. I find it very irritating and somewhat annoying...(but let me tell you what I really think!)
The worst ones are (Feb, March & April) - I dont mind Halloween and Christmas...(cause those are my favorite holidays)...
but when hearts go down, and clovers go up and bunnies are coming out of the woodwork...I've had it!........I'm afraid someone is gonna jump out of behind the counter and say..."May I help you?" it's almost like they are despreate for sales - which is most likely the case since the biggest months are (Oct/Nov & Dec) and the retail chains were spoiled on our greedy spending sprees. It's our own fault.....

yes, well, kind of. It bothers me when they put up decorations before the wrong holiday. Like when they put up Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving.

Yes! No Christmas decorations until after Hallowe'en - used to be until after Remembrance Day (in Canada Nov. 11). Don't like what they do now!

Yes these stores don't know the meaning of Christmas. All they think about is the darn money. When will Christmas be the same?? Probably never and that is upsetting!!! I get depressed when Christmas is here.
