Not me, but there is actually a show out right now based on this premise. The moon explodes into three big pieces, and some of the smaller pieces hit earth. It is called "Three Moons Over Milford" and airs on ABC Family Sunday nights at 8. Good show.

I think that would be a very bad idea. As it stands, it helps on circulating the water around the world as it creates the tides that move the oceans. Why don't you study about the moon more and you'll see it affects a lot of things that you take for granted.

Actually, the moon plays a vital role. The moon control the tides for ocean and seas. Moon also gives us counter balance on our rotation with Sun. Lot of animals sense time and seasoning for breeding based on moon cycle. The moon light also plays a vital role in mating for lot of animals/plants.

you do realize the moon is actually responsible tides, mating rituals of many animals, and it provides light for fish to catch bugs at night.
it also provides a gravitational balance for the earth to stay steady on its rotation.
the moon atually does a lot for the earth, but in your ignorance you neglected to look up what the moon actually does before you decided to ask this question.
