Usually not. If they have a strabismus (or "lazy eye") - usually since childhood - the brain tends to ignore the signal from that eye.
This leads to blindness in the lazy eye ("amblyopia").
It is usually treated in childhood by patching the GOOD eye and forcing the brain to work with the lazy eye.

Lazy eye is technically amblyopia (one eye not able to see as clearly as the other). You are talking about an eye turn (strabismus). Most people do not see two images but only one at a time - some can only see out of one of their eyes and some are able to actually switch back and forth between the two eyes. If it is a sudden eye turn or if they undergo surgery or vision therapy that causes the eyes to be better aligned, they can have double vision.

No the brain suppresses the vision in one eye to prevent this. That is the danger of going blind in lazy eye.

lazy eye isn't like a crossed eye (where one eye looks at one thing and the other looks at another). a lazy eye is when you're eye lids are really low and you always look tired.
