Highlights are always in since they illuminate the face, but I think that the trend is going more for a darker blond color by throwing in lowlights instead. Ashee Simpson just emerged in Hollywood with a beautiful darker blond color that is just slightly sunkissed. It looks 100% more natural than her sister's fake blond locks. That seems to be the new way that a lot of the celebs are going and I am happy to see it!
