I went clubbing on saturday and was rejected from a club not because of my colour not because of my religion and not because of the way i was dressed oh and it was not because I was taking drugs. Can anyone guess why I was not allowed into the club? Its so funny, I still cant believe it.

Its not clothing,some have or have nearly hit the nail on the head, its discriminating really yet still very funny.

Sometimes, the bouncer just doesn't like the look on a guy's face. That happens, you're out. Plain and simple.
Some other times, they're running on a quota. They want more single girls in the club than guys, so they can open the floodgates later and let the guys in to spend heavily at the bar or something. Again, if you're a single guy in such clubs, you're out.
And sometimes it's personal. The bouncer might know someone who's a bitter enemy of yours. The enemy wants to make your life hell? The bouncer's only too happy to oblige.
In the end, the only lesson is this:- You can't figure bouncers.

Is it because you're a guy?
The clubs in my old college town of Greensboro, NC, would have certain quotas RE: gender and not allow the ratio to fall below 2 women for every man.
