that would depend on the kind of attraction.. Maybe you just admire her but never get attracted in a very very weird and different way because you are going to break a lot of relationships: your wife and you, your wife and your mother's wife...

well, sexual attraction is a natural human reaction really. There isn't any way to avoid being attracted to someone else, even if it is your wife's mother. But at least you're being honest about it. I mean human beings are attractive, there is no reason we can't be attracted to other people. Even fantasizing is natural, some people argue we not meant to be with only one person our whole life, so for those of us that are then fantasizing is a sort of escape. That doesn’t mean you don't love your wife, I'm sure you do very much. I'm not saying you want to sleep with your mother-in-law, but if you do, then I think you need to ask yourself what is missing in your love life to want to sleep with someone that is so close to her? Some say romance never dies, I say it disappears at times. Maybe if you find yourself sexually attracted to many other people, you need to try something new in your relationship. Maybe role playing, romantic getaways, you get the point. Don’t be ashamed of what you’re feeling, but be honest with yourself, it’s natural but I find that at times people seem more attractive than my partner when things are bad, but you know, life isn’t always perfect.

I am going to say this has to do with the deep psychological chemistry that is in all male individuals. What ever attracted you to your wife, if is personality and looks and chemistry. It is very logical that your male chemistry would sense the vibes from the original female, or the mother. This only means that this is a complement towards your wife and your Mother-in law. Your DNA and Male chemistry has let you know you have found your soul mate. I am not an expert on human psychology but there is nothing wrong in having inner feelings. When mankind was in the dark ages and humans died easily from illness or injury or woman did in childbirth, men would have to continue to plant their seed and procreate the human race and the closest female that was near the wife's DNA ---would be her Mother. But in our modern world this is not necessary or legal--- so just realize that you have discovered a ---cave man side of all males instincts---and just don't act on it.

One advice column I read the other day said that sometimes men get in the train of thought that pregnancy isn't as attractive because suddenly you're a "mom" and for some reason it's not okay to think of you as attractive or sexy. I think in a lot of cases it's also fear of hurting the baby and to be honest sex is simply awkward with a tummy in the way. However, he may come around once he realizes that it's his baby too and that you're beautiful and sexy or else you wouldn't be having his child...

It is normal, I mean we are men aren't we. Specially if she is hott. However that does not mean that you should be doing something with her. There is a fine line between thinking someone is hot and doing her. She is beyond limits for God's sake that is your wifes mother. By the way send me a picture of her. I will do something about it I am not related to her.

yes it's normal to be attracted. she's a woman you're a man (i assume). obviously she's an attactive lady. i don't think there's anything wrong with that. now going beyond that attraction and looking for something more, then that's just plain nuts!

It might be normal to feel attracted to someone, but your wife's mother? It happens, but don't let this attraction go crazy, you'll pro bally loose you wife, unless you don't care for her. I suggest you look at someone Else's mother.

its sick and its against God's will to be attracted to any one's mother its in the bible look it up in exodus 20:1-17 and look in Luke there are some good parables to live by its just ungodly to think about your wife's mother yea she might be attractive but that dont mean you should stare her down and think about how great it would be to have sex with her i've made that mistake and vowed never to do it again i just stared and even that was wrong

You all need to look up attraction! It does not mean he wants her it just means he thinks she is nice to look at. There is nothing wrong with it as long as you don't act on it
