i think we have so much in common and i love her so much. I know she likes me too but is scared of the fact that i'm younger. Should i go for it. I don't think i'd meet another gal like her.

Well from a womans point of view I've done both, I mean married younger than me and lots older. My current husband is almost 3 yrs younger than me. I really think anything less than 5 years age difference is no big deal. You're still in the same generation basically so you at least have come common ground.

My 10 years younger husband didn't know who the Beatles were-I probably shouldn't have married him since the Beatles are in my top 5 favorite music groups. But it was fun while it lasted.

Give her some time to get used to it and try to act grown up about the whole thing. How old are you both anyway?

don't be silly! There's nothing wrong with the relationship as long as you're both over 18. My mum is 3 yrs older then my dad! But if you're going to get married, be sure you both love eachother. There's too much divorce in the world today. ~Mel~

there is nothing wrong with marrying a girl 3 years older than u, if u love her then age doesn't matter, and if she loves u too she won't mind nether. Love is a powerful thing and if u think u love her then go for it, listen to ur heart.

i'm 3 yrs older than my bf and age doesn't really matter that much .think about your maturity levels and if they match. do you have the same goals? are you both seeing eye to eye on lots of issues? are you compatible with each other's families? maybe she's scared about your stability and maturity rather than age. if anyone is scared, maybe it's too soon to get married.

No, not at all, not even a little.

1) Do you love and respect each other?
2) Do you make each other laugh?
3) Do you make each other feel better about yourselves?
4) Do you want to have children with her and raise them with her?

Sounds just fine to me .... I don't think 3 years will make that big of a difference ... My BF is 22 and I'm 25 ... I think it's perfect ... !

as long as you are both adults- we are never promised to meet someone "our own age" if you love her and she loves you and you think you can have a life- go for it
