I believe you can get a passport from the country you are a citizen of. I am not sure how the US handles US residents passports...I would go ask the passport officials in your local area. They would probably be able to help you out.

Ok most people here don't know what they're talking about...

No you may not get an American Passport, but if you need a passport to exit the country then you must go to your country's embassy in your state and wait in the long lines to get your passport. Remember to bring all prove of birth and status in the United States and try to be the first to get there.

If you are not a US citizen then you can't get a US passport. You would get your passport from the country you were born in. So contact your embassy in the US to find out what to do next.

if you're a permanent resident in the us you can't get a us passport-only citizens can have a us passport. you can however have a passport from the country that you're from. most countries let u have dual citizenship... you can travel on that passport and all you need to travel back to the us is your resident card
hope that helps:-)

no, you have to get a passport from the country you're a citizen of, Let's say If you have a US green card but you were born in Mexico, and you travel to Germany, you will travel with a Mexican Passport and your greencard.

no you can't get a US passport, but you can get the passport for the country of which you were born or are a citizen... go to the embassy of your country, or go back to your home country and apply for one..... other wise.... you would have to wait til you apply for US citizenship, get that, then apply for a passport.
