Of course we all cry from time to time. Have I ever cried in front of my buddies? Yes, my Mom's funeral, for example.
However, for the most part I keep it all inside. This is not some macho thing, it's just how I am. I am more of an introvert personality that comes to terms with things by thinking about them rather than crying about them.

There are only certain reasons anyone should cry.
I think it's a sign of weakness to cry about stupid stuff-- like if there is a problem that can be solved, there's no point in crying, you have to find the solution to your problem and not just sit there crying and feeling sorry for yourself and trying to get others to feel sorry for you.
BUT- if there's something that you cannot do, such as, help your family if they are sick or if someone dies. Or it's a situation completely out of your control... sometimes the only thing you can do is cry.
EXCEPT FOR--- Work- I hate it when women cry at work-- I think it makes all women look weak and disrespected..
I hate it when men cry to purposely "show" they are sensitive. It's crap. This really aggravates me when men try to get me to feel sorry for them for some unknown reason.

It's not good to keep it all inside. I have cried in front of my mom and dad but I usually like to cry with my two cats. They understand.
If I had a girlfriend or wife, I would not be afraid to cry in front of them as long as it's not due to some movie. I tend to get carried away.
Have a great day!!!

Yes! and iam 18
I only cried infront of my mom when i lost a test TWICE and once infront of my brother when we broke out on a Fight!!
i have many sad things at life, being cheated all the way in jr.high by some jerk who pretented to be my friend... and now i feel sad thinking about having lost my sister and brother at life (they aint dead, just selfish little............ )
i really wish i could cry out loud.... but something inside me prevents my to let out a sob, you dont know what it feels like... atleast some guys do...... something trying to pull back your heart even when you are at breaking point.... it feels so terrble....
and i cried once watching the movie "The Game" (the only one i remember of), because there was a brother jumping of the top a skyscraper in front of his younger bro.... it really touched me...

I have cried in front of male friends, but only once or twice. (My brother's death comes to mind.) My wife cannot handle it so I don't do it in front of her either. (I have cried three times in a 20-year marriage. Twice she got up and left the room. The other time, we were in a car and she didn't have anywhere to go.)

everybody cries. the best way for a guy to cry is to let a tear roll down one cheek with out making a sad face or sobbing noises. the other one still has to be clear, so you'll know who saw you crying.

I'm not a guy, but i have alot of guy friends. the close ones cry in front of me sometimes. So i think they do, they're just embarrassed to let others see them do it because of the "real men don't cry" cliche
