For some reason I'm thinking this actually happened to you. I would think she was entirely too weird to go on a second date with, I mean what next? is she gonna remove my finger cuz she thought I was going to touch her?

Ha ha ha. That made me chuckle. Mase is some serious stuff. I sprayed my ex with it one time when I caught him cheating and it had some backlash. I nearly choked to death and my eyes were on fire. If a guy wants to go out with a girl who sprayed him for leaning in to kiss her while they were out on a date, they both have issues. I know I had some when I sprayed it.

hell no, she's a freak-show. What kind of girl has her finger on the mace trigger during the entire date, just ready to burn your eyes out. Besides, what can a guy possibly do that would be confused with leaning in for a kiss?

Definitely not.
And I am not a guy but I felt I had to answer your question. You haven't given all the particulars but in this instance it is enough to know that that sort of misunderstanding needs resolution by professionals - the girl has issues.

Probably not, because this sounds more like a signal of her major insecurities and trust issues. If she is worried about going in for a kiss and thinking that'll be rape, then she has major issues.

I find that being spayed with mace is a real turnoff. I'm sure that a second date would have been out of the question.

Girl, you made wrong moves. That is just wrong. He is probably scared of you now. What does he think if he tries to hold your hand. You panic too much. Sorry.
