I assume you're asking because of the age difference.

Honestly, the odds will be based on the same variables that any relationship is based on, the least of which at this point in your lives, will be age.

More important than a 10yr age gap (which isn't that great) is how much "friendship" is inherent in the relationship, rather than infatuation.

Too many times, we base our love and like on the "heat and passion" (which has its place and is important to a point) and not enough on the long-term of being able to be compatible outside the bedroom or when things get routine. Too many relationships and marriages go south when the heat and sex get old, because they have nothing in common for the other 23 hrs of the day.

I always say, make sure they're your best friend first, then everything else will surely survive.

Peace and good luck...

I got married to an older woman. 10 years too to be exact. I was 35, she was 45. Everything great at 1st. But after a few years she did not want to socialize with any of my friends because they made her feel old. I am a very social person and age does not matter to me. Just be able to carry on about an interesting topic and I am communicating. Then she started to make excuses not to spend any time at family functions..tired, sick, achy ...always something.. then when I complimented her appearance or clothes. I got the reply , yeah right you don't mean it..Why do you want to be with me? It really bothered her that I look 10 years younger than I am and it killed her when young store clerks would say are you spending time with your mom...that's sweet. So my advice is make sure she is really comfortable regarding the age difference..ask her more than once though

Just fine. The 10-year age difference gets less important as the years go by. By 30, most men are ready to settle down and by 40, a woman has had a chance to do everything she wanted to do to assert herself as an individual, so they should be in about the same place.

I've give them 40%

But it really depends on whether one or both has kids. If the guy does not have kids he will probably want them and she will probably not be able to give him any. If, she has kids and he does not, they may be teenagers or adults and he would have no authority over them. However, if he has kids then he will probably be satisfied... and if the woman does not have kids, she probably is already aware of her biological clock and may not want any, and his kids will be fairly young. If they both have kids, it should work out ok. If neither have kids, it may not last because of fertility issues.

Depends on all other aspects of your relationship. Age should never be the deciding factor. However if you are so worried then you may always delve on it negatively impacting on your iverall relationship

Depends on you and the other person. Do you have a lot in common? I my self would not feel right about dating some one that young .
