No one can make you believe in you. Only you can do that. However, talk to someone you know and trust and ask that person to help you figure out all your positive attributes.
Another way to learn to believe inn ourselves is to begin to help other people less fortunate than ourselves. See if there is somewhere you can begin to do a little volunteering. You might be surprised at how quickly your outlook might change.

I don't know, I know that you can. But here I go. Why not believe in yourself? Really? When you get your reasons....See if you could forgive those reasons if it was someone other than you. Most people are their own worse enemy. Find ways to square it up in your head. Everyone has doubts about themselves and abilities, or past baggage that almost paralyzes them, or guilt that makes them feel worthless, you are not alone. You need to believe in yourself because you deserve it. I tell my son that he needs to be kind to himself and love himself because he will get enough crap from people in the world, he dosen't need it from himself too. That he should be safe and at ease within his own skin..so when these negitave thoughts and feelings start up, kick there butt...rebuttle with truth and knowledge not distruction and self loathing. He is young and already has had a hard hand delt to him. Even though his hand is hard, I tell him, he still has it easier than some. And that is the trurth.

Martha. The real you is somebody else. You've just sort of forgotten that. Just treat people decently, even if they don't treat you decently. That's their problem.
