It didn't bother me when I was younger but now I would probably punch him especially that I am older than him

Its normal but cool? If your significant other is introducing you as his "old lady" on a regular basis this is just a sign of disrespect. Tell him and at least he wont do it in front of you anymore, this term came from the 40s biker gangs and just makes you sound old and not important.

It all depends on the couple. If you don't like it, then its not cool. Tell him that it bothers you and why. If he loves you he won't do it anymore. My husband is 10 years older than me and I sometimes call him my "old" man. If it bothered him I wouldn't do it.

LMAO... That is one of our "pet" terms for each other... I find it funny but that is because there is a lengthy story involved. If your spouse actually likes you and it is used in a humorous sense, I think it is fine... when he is using it in a "mean" sense, then I have a prob with it!

I love it! I mean, all of our friends do this, and it is not meant to be ignorant, but as a sign of affection. I in turn call him my old man. I love my old man!
