First off, the land in Mexico needs to be redistributed. Something like 11 families own 95% of all the real estate there. It's no wonder that the Mexican people would rather live in the USA, they are little more than slaves there.

Once the land (and wealth) is redistributed, Mexicans will be able to own their own place, sorta like the American dream. I beleive everything else will fall into place. They will have a much better handle on life, perceiving that they actually have a say in their own lives. They will stay in Mexico instead of immagrating to the US. They will feel better about themselves and get better educations and improve the lot of the Mexican people all around.

Then there won't be such a stark difference between the people in the US and those in Mexico. The borders could be opened because it will be more like the borders between the US and Canada.

Plus Mexico will more likely join a Latin Alliance or Union with other countries in LA.

One thing I learned from visiting Mexico, that government steals from their people. There is so much poverty. In Mexico there is no such thing a Social Security or any other benefits. If you are born poor, you will be poor for the rest of your life. Their president lives in a mansion built for a king, while their people not to mention children beg on the streets and steal.. it's so sad.. I was in a Taxi cab with my brothers when the police stopped us and stole all of our belongings... They even made us take off our socks, shoes they ended up taking everything from us...

Yeah,i think Mexico should do what Puerto Rico did,
