I don´t command the laws of physics to work to my advantage. I just take into consideration the work of many much brighter people than I who have spent their lives to add to the human race´s knowledge, bit by bit... For those of you that answered "spirits", and "beyond the laws of physics" I´m sorry but it doesn´t stick. Even a god should play by his own rules. When I say nonexistence, it´s litteral: NOTHING can exist beyond our spacetime continuum, again, don´t take my word for it. Check google and... mathematics. Come on! Just admit that there´s something of a contradiction in substance in creationism!

For most people, nothing is just empty space. It´s not. I know it´s mind boggling but it´s nevertheless true. It´s way past our scale, whether in time or in space (Which are inseparable). Any philosophical thought, any pure will, omniscient power could not exist where nothing exists

Of course a god should play by his rules... If you build a house, can you go through the walls without making a hole into them?

And (Sigh!)... I´m not looking for a validation, just trying to sow doubt in your mind...

Your question is confusing to me but i will try and make
an attempt at something scientific.

this may sound dumb as i am not good with physics.
I saw a show once on discovery that was talking about
the existence of other dimensions. I have seen several
shows on this, whether it is true or not remains to be
seen but apparenty there is something about gravity
that hints to this? maybe you know what theory
im talking about. I would be interested if you had
any insight on it.

I also heard a theory that the universe is electrical?

Anways i "tried"!
LOL!

BTW thanks for your thoughtful response to my
question yesterday!

By what logic do you say the even a god must obey his own rules?

Must a warden live by the same rules as the inmate?

Can you build a car without riding in it?

Can a higher dimension contain any number of lower ones?

Does mathematics represent all knowledge, with nothing new to ever be discovered?

So if nothing can exist beyond our space-time continuum, from what did it emerge? And to where will it return?

If you can't perceive it then it must surely not exist?

Has this generation represented a pinnacle of knowledge, or a loss of it? If there was any knowledge once had by men that no longer is, could it be regained somehow? Might it be lost forever?

So if you don't really know the rules by which the universe exists, how can you judge the Creator of them? And even if you attempt it, what credibility is there in your judgement and what makes you think it matters?

Since you're so logical and we religious people are so ignorant, I suggest you go off and worship the big bang from nothingness, which all you "oh so smart" people so heartily believe in. Personally, I dont get how a big bang can simply pop into existence from nothing, but what do I know about space and time, being an illogical, and quite ignorant christian. Yep, the big bang from nothingness is much more rational to an intelligent mind.

Then you should have asked a physics class. Besides, some of the scientific theories about the beginning of the universe just don't boil down to something comprehendable by the general public. "In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded." I'm neither a scientist nor a christian, but even I can spot the flaw in that argument.

It's truly sad that you actually base your beliefs on physics. Did you know that physics can prove that an elephant can hang off the side of a cliff by his tail that is tied to a daisy. And everyone knows that that is not in anyway possible. So physics can prove or disprove anything you want it to. The fact of the matter is that you can't logically disprove the existence of God. The reason you can't disprove him is because HE EXIST.

All science is from God. Thus all science is good. but man has very little understanding of science. If man had not mucked it up so bad all of mankind would be living in peace and plenty as God intended.

By the way... God is not bound by the science of this universe He created. He is beyound this universe. But... God made the rules (science) of this universe and if you do not play by God's rules...you lose. mankind dose not get to make up it's own rules... among those rules of God one can find how to come to God in The Way He proscribes. All of those who come to God in His way will receive His free gift of Salvation that will allow them to go beyound the science of this universe and learn what God truly intendes for them to be.

Those who come to God in His Way become The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. They are those of the True Christian FAith

I accept honest email questions concerning The Christian Faith.

Your statement holds true:
Even a god should play by His rules.

Well God does play by His rules He created physics so therefore He was before the "laws of physics"

I'm not trying to play games just trying to have you "think outside the box"

Another example of the innate arrogance in humanity that thinks that a supreme being should subordinate itself to a sense of human reason rather than seeking to submit to the reason of a supreme being.

You cannot prove that nothing exists beyond this universe. You also cannot expect God, who could very well exist outside the natural boundaries of physics, to submit himself to what you, a finite and very temporary being, decide is reasonable. If you want reason, ask a reasonable question.

To say "nothing exists beyond our spacetime continuum" is really just playing a game with the word "exists", which implies knowability. The claim of afterlife-ists is that what we consider knowable in the here and now is not all that is knowable once you die.

I don't agree with that position, bit that's the sense in which they are using the word "exist".

lol.. isn't it frustrating to accept that God simply is beyond our comprehension...
look at your own wording..
Even God should play by His own rule (meaning that He should be bound by the things He made?)
The fact that the creator should be bound by the law of physics will suggest that He is not the almighty..
Now, where's the logic in that?
