I'm puerto rican, but growing up most of my friends were caucasian, so it was never seemed odd or weird to date someone outside of my race. I've dated caucasians guys, polynesian guys and they're all pretty much the same. The only thing is that I always get the "exotic" thing a lot and that really irritates me. I feel sometimes that guys are attracted to me because they've never been with an exotic girl before, or they have some "thing" for exotic women.
Also the first thing I ALWAYS get asked - is "what are you?" like I'm some foreign plant species. The main hurdle in dating anyone outside your race is overcoming stereotypes on both sides. All in all, I like dating other races. I like meeting new and different people and I like learning from them.

yes, and it has been just like dating the same race some have really turned out to be great guys and others just wanted one thing... But the best part of it all was when me and a guy i dated would go out (frequently) and people would stare and look confused and we would instantly become over affectionate and laugh in their faces. If you decide to date someone do it because you are genuinely interested and attracted to them not their color or the myth that goes along with it

I dated a white woman and she thought she was better than me. So, I told her go to hell. I dated a latin chick, she was so smooth, and the sex was good. I dated a haitian chick, she was fine too. They like men of that light or white color. Now, I wanna have a chinese.

i've dated half out of my race. :)
i didn't really think about the race thing.
unless it's a big deal towards your family, i don't think it really matters.

it's just like dating someone in your race-just perhaps a different color or accent. don't date someone outside your race if your just being curious-you'll wind up hurting someone's feelings
