Do you love the Lord with your whole heart? Do you seek Him daily? Have you entered into the throne room? Do you bask in His presence? I know you know Him, but does He know you?
Jesus said, "Depart from me for I never knew you." This scripture is for CHRISTIANS!

No, actually that scripture is not for real Christians. That scripture is for those that think they know Christ in a saving way.

The Bible teaches us to make sure we are in the faith. We can easily deceive ourselves...especially if we are trusting in our works. Our good and bad deeds aren't what keep us from or get us to heaven. It is all about a real realationship with the Jesus Christ found in the Bible...not some made up guy that loves everyone and that knows our hearts are good. The truth is that our hearts aren't good...we are sinners.

how do you seek him, exactly? how do you love him with all your heart exactly? lol and i cant wait for this answer, how have you "entered into the throne room" exactly? How do you bask in his presence? How exactly could he not know me, lol. I am a pastor, i am a Christian, and i want to know if you have a clue what any of that means. Because i have graduated from Bible College, been in fulltime ministry for multiple years, am a seminary student, and i have no clue what alot of that means, do you or do you just like to speak Christianese and repeat your preacher? not trying to argue, just make you think a bit.

Yes, I love the Lord and I seek him daily. I pray and do the best I can. I know that I do not do enough to be what I should be though.
I hope I never hear the words
depart from me. I guess that is where faith and salvation by grace comes in.

I am a Christian myself and yes I love and seek the Lord with all of my heart, mind, body and soul. Did you ever try the daily devotionals called The Power of a Praying series by Stormie O Martin? They are such excellent books.
God bless!

Jesus said that to the people who were attempting to enter into heaven by their works remember, those who told him all about their "wonderful efforts" We cant get into heaven by our works. Here Jesus made the truth very clear when he said only those who do the will of the Father will enter into heaven. What is the Fathers' will? Jesus made it very clear when he said " And this is the will of him who sent me that everyone who seethe the Son and believeth on him may have everlasting life and I will raise him up on the last day" Look around you today and see the number of people who will tell you that Gods' grace through Jesus Christ isn't enough it takes our works too. No one will be walking around in heaven bragging that they helped the Lord to save them!

I don't see how this can be construed as being forced onto non-Christians. He titled it with 'For real Christians...' - why would you look if you don't want to hear about it?

My answer is: I certainly try: I try to love Him and others with my whole heart, I try to seek him daily, I try to bask in His presence and He does know me, better than I know myself.

Yes, I know Him! More importantly, however, He knows me. He even knows the numbers of hairs on my head(Mathew 10:30). He knew me when I wa in my mother's womb(Psalm 139). He is good & merciful for it is His will tht none should perish, but ALL have everlasting life (John 3:16). The only way we dare enter His presence is through the GRACE of Jesus Christ. Only God knows the heart. He is my hope.

What's your definition of a 'real' Christian??!! Who are you to decide if someone is 'real' or not.

Going on the theory, though, how could I know 'Him' (and I use that term loosley) better than 'He' knows me? If 'He' created me, & knew my whole life before I was ever on this Earth, then I think it stands to reason 'He' has the upper hand.

Your question is something to ponder as I enter the only "throne room" on the planet. (If I'd entered the one you're referring to, I wouldn't be here typing! LOL!)

I just love the way some people pick a scripture from the Bible and then twist it out of context to ask or say something to challenge it. Read the Bible and then make your questions or comments people.
