Belgo Centraal (not sure about the in the UK bit coz i havn't travelled the UK b4!)
neway, Belgo Centraal is mi fave restaurant and dont get me rong - im a food lover and nearly pro food critic! it is a cool Belgian restaurant in Covent Garden it serves delicious food and its got gr8 presentation plus the way they've done up the place looks gr8 jus like their food!
its not really for the posh guys and its good prices - not too cheap and not expensive at all (- under £24 average price per head says toptable - an online restaurant guide!)

The Goods Shed in Canterbury, just by Canterbury West Station.
The restaurant is by the farmers market, which is where it gets most of its ingredients, which are prepared to excellent standards (as vouched for by the best guide books). Also, you get an interesting view of the trains and, if you go for lunch, of people shopping at the stalls.

Peck's of Congleton, Cheshire. Everybody eats at the same time, it's called 'dinner at eight'. Very civilised, like a great old English country house dinner party. stacks of courses, and the servers bring them all round so you can see what you're ordering before you decide.
Marvellous, not cheap, but then what is? You get what you pay for.
