the thing on the web said the pork product should be frozen for three weeks to kill any bacteria and then fully cooked. also to much salty pork is not really good for the dogs health. odds are you can get away with the frozen part as long as it is cooked pretty good. i buy my dog fast food pork. i really thought it might be bad for a dog until i just read what i read. yes dogs can eat pork.

It has been noted pork can cause severe sickness and seizures. I have not had this happen to any of my dogs, but most of mine were taken off the street and at one time or another ate whatever they could find to eat. Hot dogs contain pork in most cases and it is a top training aid for dogs.
I have heard more about pork in ham form that seems to cause most of the problems. We have two dogs inthe program that have become seriously ill with lots of medical bills and I would say to be cautious. One volunteer used to give it to her dogs all the time then just once it didn't work out so well, but the dog also had some other health issues.

Rubbish.....
My Doberman has Steak on a barbecue, Beef, Mince, Veg, Raw meat, Toast in the morning with either jam, mar mite, peanut butter or just butter. Pork chops, Lamb chops obviously without the bone, Chicken Fried, Grilled, boiled, Rice ETC . A dog will eat anything all i do is watch when he poo's. I give my dog 1 tin of tuna fish a week and this stops constipation. My dog loves everything except peas, I have too mush them up for him.
THE THINGS WE'LL DO FOR OUR DOGS.

Dogs can eat pork or any meat for that matter, as long as it is cooked. Raw meat can make a dog sick. You also shouldn't feed the dog pork straight away, as drastic changes in it's diet could upset it's digestive system, causing diarrhea. I just thought you might wan't to know that in case you plan to feed your own dog pork.

to be honest raw meat cant be good for a dog anyway can it?
like someone else said you should give white meat to a dog as its too rich maybe a small amount would be OK, but definitely not on bones as they splint and could get stuck in the troat.

I can't think of a medical reason why they couldn't eat pork. It's probably better than most of the junk put into commercial dog foods.
