Chunk chicken but sometimes I use imitation crab meat and parmesan cheese with a bit of minced garlic and parsley for a fancy looking (but cheap) dish.

I've never seen it served with meatballs. Chicken or shrimp, yes.

The original recipe is meatless. I have had it with chicken strips, very delicious.

Cream sauces usually means white meat and seafood.

Beef is usually served with red sauces.

Some exceptions.
