Every time I have been at Catholic Mass they always pray for world peace as part of the bidding prayers. I'm not sure what sort of church you attend.

There's no verse in the Bible that uses the words "Trinity" or "Incarnation" either -- but all Christians believe in them, just as we believe in praying for world peace.

I once prayed for world peace. Then it happened! I have yet to receive my nobel peace prize for my work though. I guess it's okay, since technically god did it, I just prayed for it.
