Try some lowlights instead. Give your hair some darker blonde or possibly brown. It looks great and I reccomend it to all my clients with you same issue.

If you're already so light blonde, why would you want highlights? Go with lowlights in a few various shades, like some darker golden blonde, lighter honey brown, etc. When done properly it will look like the natural variations that sun highlighted hair has. Get it done at a salon by a color specialist, they go for extra training to learn the latest trends & techniques. They cost a little bit more than your regular colorist, but it will be worth it!

oh my gosh you are like my sister! literally! i have the same color as you! light bleach blonde hair that's almost white! i wouldn't get highlights because it would look really weird. if you had to get a little bit darker blonde than your real color.

Hello, the best is to do a reverse frosting on your hair. LaPetite is a very good one. After you have pulled it through, use a light ash brown on it. The ash will cut any red tones you may have. I have been coloring and frosting my hair for 20 years. Be sure and use a good conditioner after. Good Luck

You can use blondie shades that deposite a litle darker .rememeber that some blonde hair is hard to take color sometimes it doesnt want to hold the color so you might want to go to a public beauty supply store and get some protien filler and than put your color in

Get lowlights (the opposite of highlights). You could do a darker shade of blonde, light shades of brown, caramel, or maybe even shades of red.

use three different ones, a light brown and a reddish colour and a golden blond
looks fantastic. Since I am getting these colours, people constantly commenting on my hair, total strangers. I am telling you
incredible, I even carry business cards now from my hairdresser because everybody wants to know where I get them done.
It's actually has become a joke with my family, whenever they are with me and it happens that people comment, they run away, cracking themselves up.

You could try adding lowlights. That's where they use a shade or shades darker than your hair color instead of lighter. The effect is quite similar.
