The other day a question and an answer here on Yahoo Answers was in violation and they deleted them as they should. Now I feel so dirty and horrible for violating Yahoo. They trusted me to ask and answer appropriately and I betrayed that trust. I dont know if I can ever forgive myself for letting down Yahoo.

Should I donate a large sum of money to the widows and orphan's fund of YA?

How can I make it up to these wonderful people?

How can I learn to not violate them again?

I know nothing can reverse the damage I have caused but somehow I will learn to live with it I guess.

I would play a violin solo right about here if I could.

Don't stress about!!!! What done is done, the point is that you learned from it. If you are still feeling like it is not enough then donate money to a good charity. The way you learn to not violate them again then just take the time to read the yahoo rules of the do's and don'ts....

yahoo would not be the one you have let down it would be the people who come to this site to get answers opinions and guidance. it sounds like you learned a valuable lesson just stay in the bounds of yahoo;s agreements. also when you go to answer a question but yourself in that persons place it takes alot of courage for some people to ask questions in here. be genuine and sincere when you answer them. move on you have learned a good lesson!!! take care!!

Reading your question, I can see it really bothered you for them to do that..or you would not have drawn attention to the matter at all....if you don't want to violate anyone, very simple..follow their rules, and have respect, like you wish to have for yourself. In the meantime,..if you don't like the way the site operates, either start your own, or don't play...Good luck hope you get over it soon.

You are, I think, being melodramatic and very insincere. I don't believe for a moment that you meant anything you said. Perhaps you should go visit chat rooms and violate someone there for a while instead.

get real....grow up!... if yahoo had to take something you wrote off it must have been pretty bad. learn to show some respect for people, but most of all learn to show some respect for yourself!

maybe you could take that large sum of money and get a new attitude?

Wash yourself in pure water, shave your skin from head to toe, and spend a week quietly meditating before the Holy Alter of Yahoo.

If you are truly repentant, Yahoo will forgive you.

I don't think you'll ever be able to get over the guilt. However, you can start with 100 lashes with a wet noodle.

Then sell everything you own and send the money to me. I promise that will make me...I mean you feel better. It will make YOU feel better. Honest.

Guilt is a useless emotion. Let go, breathe deeply and remember, one day at a time. I know there are 11 other steps, but I forget what they are.
