I live in Newport, MI and she needs proper care. I dont want to give her back to who I got her from because I think she runs a puppy mill. I just want her to try and get help I spent over $500 and cant afford anything else.

check out the addresses of these dog havens..the ones that are not ASAPCA..> http://search.petfinder.com/search/search.cgi?action=1&pet.Animal=Dog&pet.Breed=&pet.Age=&pet.Size=&pet.Sex=&location=newport%2C+MI&preview=1&scope=2&x=4&y=8

Or go to this site and apply on line for a veterinary care no-interest credit card..they give up to 18 months to repay, and will tell you in minutes if you have been approved..Nearly all vets accept this card> http://www.carecredit.com/practices/veterinary/

you're probably right - most breeders of puggles are either backyard breeders or puppy mills. I hope if you ever get a dog again you go thru rescue or an animal shelter!!
Anyway, have you googled puggle rescue??
You can also try searching for NO kill animal shelters - your dog will have to be tested to make sure it qualifies tho (meaning it's not aggressive, etc.) Puggles are highly adopted animals, so if you bring them to a no-kill shelter they'd probably be adopted within days.
But try googling puggle rescue. If you can't find any near you contact the closest one. Sometimes if rescues have the room they'll take in dogs from other states. Whatever you do, DONT give her back to the lady you bought her from!!

PS - is your dog sick a lot?? if so then it's DEFINETLY from a puppy mill!!

Try these people..they've helped place thousands of animals and they are strictly a "No Kill" network...I would also report the person you got it from...we should shut down ANY puppy mill we find it's called Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and good luck..I know you'll find someone to help there.

You may want to sign her over to the SPCA, or see if they can treat her for a lower cost...If you choose to sign her over, you may have to pay a small fee for her care until she is re-homed.

Sometimes you can volunteer at the SPCA for the cost of treating your pet.

If you can't afford vet bills for your dog, you may need to reconsider owning one...all animals cost $$ for their treatment...fish are the most inexpensive pets to own...look into getting a fish until you can afford the medical bills for a bigger pet.

Contact the SPCA they may be able to help save your puppy and you will still be able to keep her.
