Honey, you should tell her exactly what you are saying here: you love her but you want your privacy, but... what if you also tell her, how she would feel if she had to wear what you choose for her? Or, how did she feel if her mom did same to her, if she couldn't wear what she likes but somebody else?
The thing is, Mom does it because she loves you and wants to be with you, and that is the way she express her care about you. Its all right you want your space, despite you are only 13.

The simple, yet honest answer is that you don't. She'll eventually learn that you want space without you having to tell her, I may be wrong on that one and you may have to break it to her eventually, but give it a year or two. She is your mother, she raised you, feed you, clothed you, and probably even bought you many non-essentials in life, the least you could do is spend some time with her. If you don't like the clothing she picks out, tell her in a polite way that you don't like it. Saying that you need your space at the age of 13 will cause many family problems.

you rather sound so plenty extra mature than maximum 17 year olds do in this occasion. regrettably, your mom can administration your existence until you're an person and on your guy or woman. i might say purely hide the dating from her. She possibly won't exchange her innovations every time quickly. via the way, being an person rocks. it rather is rather advantageous to be waiting to make certain my boyfriend with out having to "tell" every physique the place i am going. seem forward to that.

When you're older, I guarantee you that you will miss all those times your mom was bugging you. You mom wants to know everything about you because she loves you. Tell her honestly about her taste in clothes and that you prefer to dress yourself. As for spending time with her: being with you is probably the biggest highlight of her day. Don't disappoint her by telling her you don't want to be with her. You'll miss her when she stops bugging you so much. I know this sounds cliche but, trust me, "You'll understand when you're older".

just say that you think you are growing up and think you would like to be able to choose your own clothes but would still value her advice. then ask if it would be possible that you could have time to do things on your own.say you still want to do things with her but not all of the time. Just remember not to scream and shout it can be very hard for some parents to accept that there children are growing up GOOD LUCK.

I think you are spoiled. Be glad you mother cares enough to be in your face when you need it. I feel sorry for your mom. My kids love me. they come home to see me and there dad. My kids are 14 and 18. you need to see what life without your moms support would be like. Get over yourself!

I think you should just tell her how you feel and she will eventually give you your space and if that doesnt work then find her some of her own friends so she can have a life of her own!

I know you may feel this way now, but one day you'll realize that you only get your parents for so long so enjoy them while you can. I used to feel that way, but now (I'm 21) and I love going anywhere and everywhere with my parents. My husband and I visit them as much as we can. Just remember that.

aww you are 13. Get used to it. It's cause she's a mother and you are a child...yes a child. I have children and I'm always up my kids butts. You need looking after because you make stupid decisions. She's trying to protect you and be involved in your life.
