I need to buy Titleist balls for a retirement present and have no idea what the difference is between the different kinds.

It should explain on the package the difference...or you could ask your friendly golf pro, or shope worker

Certain types of golf balls are better than others.
Ex. a Titlesit Pro V 1 is better than an Ultra ball.
It is the way the golf ball rolls, hits, and how far its goes.

People usually buy Titleist Pro V1. They're one of the most expensive and most sold for some reason. They're very good, about 50 buck. Get one pack for me and I'd like you.

The package will tell you what kind of ball it is, but it also depends on what kind of golfer the person is. If the golfer is more of a finesse player he will want want one that gives more control and spin. If the golfer is more of a biginner and a grip and rip it kind of person then you just need a ball that will fly the farthest.
