I usually try to stick with whole grains, lowfat dairy, fresh fruit and a little bit of protein.
A typical breakfast for me is cereal like All Bran-Bran Buds, Kashi GoLean Crunch, or Cheerios, 1% milk (I hate skim and 1% is just as healthy as skim, but with better taste) and a half cup of blueberries in my cereal. (The Kashi is particularly high in protein).
I usually eat a light breakfast, but you can also add a glass of tomato or V-8 juice, 100% grape or cranberry juice, whole grain toast with natural peanut butter, oatmeal, a banana, yogurt, or anything like that.
This morning I had two everything bagels from Panera bread with a LOT of cream cheese, because I was really hungry and work bought...LOL
