In Judaism, all the righteous of the nations have a share in the world to come.

Jews are the "chosen people" for special *obligations* -- NOT for special rewards.

The Christian heaven/hell was borrowed from Zoroastrianism, NOT Judaism!

Yes, those who have heard of Jesus and what He did for us and don't accept him as their Savior will go to hell.
And Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. He said so Himself. John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; No one comes to The Father but by Me."
However those who have never heard of him at all will not go to hell. I'm not completely sure what will happen to them, maybe the Lord will let them come straight up to heaven, I don't know. But somewhere in the Bible the Lord told us that He won't punish those who have never heard of Him. After all, what kind of loving God would he be if he threw you in a lake of fire forever just because no one ever told you about Him?
Hope this helps you understand a bit more about what Christians know from the Bible.

The only thing that will send anybody to hell is to reject what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross for them. He died for your sins, He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. Believe and trust in that and you will have eternal life in heaven with Him. Religion is when you try to do a good work to please God. Grace is when God does something for you without you doing anything. He did it all.

I am a Christian and I really hate the word religion. That word causes more trouble. I believe that if a person, being Catholic, Lutheran, Jewish, etc., chooses Jesus Christ as their Savior and Messiah, repents of their sins and tries to be like Christ, hence the word Christian = Christ Like, and follow the word of God and God's commandments, they will be in the presence of God for eternity. That is the criteria I believe necessary not to go to Hell

We have no way of knowing who will or won't go to hell. That is between the person and God and we have no right to judge or make assumptions. It is my belief that religion is man-made and anything that is added to Biblical teaching is null and void any way!

I'm a non-denominational Evangelical Christian. We believe that those who died in faith prior to Christ's death (from Adam onward) will go to heaven; all those who die outside of God's true faith are in Hell. There is quite a bit of disagreement within the Christian faith whether or not these folks will be tormented forever, or if they will cease to exist at some point.

It is for this very reason that Evangelicals try to get non-believers to see what lies ahead.

No. I don't believe in a hell or any other place where God is absent. I don't believe an All-Powerful, All-Knowing God would do such a thing... Unless he's the Marquis De Sade.

No, specially if I don't believe in hell. I think people die, get buried and eaten by worms. Your life is oxygen. You have no air you have no life. You have no soul that wonders either. My translation of the phrase, "the world is going to end", the world ends when you die. The world will never end.

I believe in God and a higher power but I don't believe in religion because people have always perverted it for their own reasons. Religions are an invention of mankind.
