I'm suprised so many people are saying this is impossible claiming the constitution protects that etc. So why aren't you complaining about the constitution being infringed on by the Patriot Act, the NSA phone taps and various other things? Bush could very well pull this off after all he is the Commander in Chief and has the army, think of when Julius Ceaser removed power from the Senate. I doubt and hope it won't happen, but don't decry things as impossible.

I've been for regime change since his first election.

Actually George Bush is the declared leader of a religion. It is called the Constitution of the United States. Webster says that religion is a set of beliefs, cult is an organized set of beliefs. So in this regard, George Bush is right now the leader of a religion. If I could find a leader of a religion that did not worship eternal damnation as truth, they might be worth following.

I think this is the reason we have things like the Constitution and the Supreme Court. I could declare myself Holy Leader of the USA and it would be just about as successful.

Yeah, like that's going to happen. Why are you people so lunatic fringe? This is a dumbass question that has no basis in reality, just in the barking moonbat loonie mind, like yours.

I'm getting distraught over the fact that my political opponents are without the capacity for the intellectual discussion of the merits and disadvantages of various political philosophies and policies.

Although he hasn't declared it, I'm sure he thinks of himself as the "Holy Leader of USA" and of the UK of A! We all know that this idiot's religion is what guides his politics - take a look at where he stands on abortion and same-sex marriage.

I vote we crucify him, call it poetic justice.

Dopey question designed to make President Bush look like a religious, out of control zealot, which he is not. He's a great man, doing a great job as president in a very difficult time.

This may be the stupidist question I have ever seen on Yahoo Questions, and thats saying a lot. You'd have to be really delusional to think that GWB is going to lead a coup to overthrow the US Government.

A holy leader seeking political authority is not a holy person.
Duh.
a holy leader is a servant to others
a political leader is a servant to himself.
So if he did that, then we would definitely know his true identity,
it's written in Revelation.
