i don't support Israel for what they are doing... i don't support wars at all. the only reason why i think people should go to war is if it's only to DEFEND THEMSELVES. Even if Israel IS defending themselves... ( which i don't think they r) they r not being so kind to lebanon... and why isn't the USA trying to stop this war?

I can not believe you think prayers have ended that war give your dam head a really big shake because they will be back at it within six months from now, those people do not want peace and the rest of the world knows it, they are simply taking a lunch break have a few funerals and patch up the wounded and the killing will begin again, so forget your prayers for them just get the hell out of there way and let them kill one another and when it is all over then you can say maybe we will have some peace now.

The wars in the world will probably never end. Take a look at history. There is always war in the world. Most of them are differences in religion, class/money, or politics.

While I hope that Peace comes for Palestine and Israel, what about other war torn regions of the world?

I am nearly 60 years old and from my earliest, childhood memories, Israel & war are synonymous.

Israel has done nothing other than wage war since she was invented by the UN in 1947.

To believe that Israel is going to engage in peaceful dialogue or relations with her neighbors is beyond prayer or reasonable expectation.

If you seriously believe Israel is "defending" herself, then you obviously know little or nothing about the history of Israel and Zionist terrorism that predated the invention of Israel.

Or, the attacks on the US by Israeli terrorists in 1954.

Hezbollah is a terrorist group whose ultimate goal is the utter annihilation of Israel.

As long as Hezbollah is still around, there will never be true peace.

The only way to true peace is to make sure that all the terrorists who want Israel wiped off the map are either in prison or dead.

Only for a short time.
They will be back at it again soon.

If the Muslims keep it up the Israelis will come against them with great force and there will be no stopping them.
Then there will be a world war.
It is inevitable, what is written will happen. Or you can start tearing the pages you don't like out of the Bible.
But because you tear the pages out, it won't stop it from happening.

I would like to say so, but not all were praying for peace, some were praying for the End of Days. In either case, I am greatful to see that the violence is coming to a halt, if only just for the moment.

No it will never end. Simple reason for that is they hate each other too much to compromise and live in peace. The only way it will end is if one destroys the other.

I don't think so cuz Israel hates muslims just as much as muslims hate israel...so it aint ending.
And by the way if you favour israel in this war that means ur a gay.

Pray that multi-national forces arrive soon enough to prevent further bloodshed! Pray for the return of kidnapped soldiers!

Peace!

For every one of you who was praying for an end to the hostilities ... there were ten (Christians) praying for it to escalate and consume the world (bringing on the end of times).

I'd say this is strong proof prayer doesn't work.
