A soul is created and God (Jehovah Jirah, El Shaddai) is the Creator. Genesis 2:7
Therefore God is a higher being than a soul. And yet the scripture says that God is Spirit (John 4:24), Light (1 John 1:5), and Love (1 John 4:8) and that man is created in his own image. Genesis 1:27
Satan, on the other hand, is created by God and therefore a lower being (a soul). If man is created in God's image then mankind is actually a higher order of being than Satan is.
So where does Satan derive his power? It is bestowed on him by mankind, not by God. Romans 1:25
But God's power is greater. Revelation 20:10

Well, since God decides who goes to "hell", no. Now if the did make suck a wager, still no, God is all knowing and would know when it was a safe bet to make. Jesus is God as man, and he wouldn't have bartered his soul for anything so he never would have had to "fork it over."

yes, yes, and he could. i actually was thinking about a way to get His (Satan's soul). I realized that if you sold your soul for His, then God would get both. (You sacrificing yourself for someone else would save you.) God would not lose his soul in the mentioned wager. Job would have lost his. Yes, God would "be a man" (extremely funny pun) and fork it over.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

God is a Spirit John 4: 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Satan does not keep souls. If you reject the Lord Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross for you then you send yourself to hell. and after the judgment you will in the lake of fire with Satan. Revelation 20: 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelation 20: 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. God is all powerful, the Lord Jesus Christ created Satan and he cover the throne until pride was found in him and God put him out of heaven. Ezekiel 28: 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Ezekiel 28: 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

it rather is not precisely a sport, yet for confident we are being examined. it rather is not continuously gentle being examined. all of us have destinies... devil has a destiny too and it rather is not in basic terms to rule over hell. He does issues, as you recognize and we do issues, without or with the devils impact. God sees each and every thing in yet in a distinctive way than human beings do. which incorporate evil. there is evil that folk do (which would be prevented) and there is evil that occurs in nature, like organic disaters or ailment. God is making an attempt to help us learn what good movements are and what evil movements are and what to do approximately those issues to usher with regard to the main good. that's what replaced into missed in Eden's backyard... by using fact expertise could be used wisely and for what's nice yet God might desire to first coach you the way, with the aid of displaying that it ought to be used interior the incorrect way. Then, as quickly as we learn we'd desire to coach it, nomatter what confronts us.
