I would love to hear some input from those of you who use an LCD hood. Which brand you think is best and if it is better to buy one with a magnifier or without. In my case the hood would be for a Canon S3 IS camera.

I recently bought a eFilm (Delkin.com) hood. It works great in reducing glare outdoors and protecting the LCD. It does not have a magnifier, but then I have a Panasonic Lumix dmc-TZ1 which has a 2.5" LCD so I wasn't looking for magnification. The way it is designed you can slide off the hood part if you know you will be doing a lot of indoors shots. Nice design and works slick. Only $20
Stop in at a good camera shop. Very likely they will be able to show and demo the hood for you and then you can see just how it will look and function on your camera.
