acording to English tradittion ,how is Gin properly served

the traditional way to serve jenever (dutch gin) is in tiny glasses filled so far to the brim that they cannot be lifted without spilling; the etiquette is to bend over from the waist and take the first sip without picking up the glass.

it is served in a short, clear, straight glass for plain gin. with soda water or lime or tonic water it is served in a tall. clear glass. for plain, served at room temperature. with add ons, add ice cubes. while others prefer to flame it.

old english tradition, they usually drink from the bottle and pass it on to the next guy.
