I don't care much for cold kethup, but i don't want to get sick either. I don't keep mine in the fridge. Also how long is it still good for, in or out the fridge?

Thanks

hmmm...
ketchup has tomatoes in it & they spoil quickly.
it also has vinegar, which does not.
the little packets are air tight, so they won't.

the person at this site says 'no', due to personal experience.

I've always been taught if you open something you need to put it in the fridge right after. If you don't like cold ketchup, keep it in the fridge, but when you're ready to eat, just leave it out for a little bit until it gets to room temperature, that won't hurt you at all, but then be sure to put it back in the fridge after.

Ketchup doesn't go off, I've seen ketchup in the cupboard for months that is fine.

Although I keep my in the fridge as I like it cold.

I don't put the bottle in the fridge untill I have opened it, so I don't think you have top put it in the fridge at all. Even in the grocerie stores they don't put them in the fridge. Also, the bottle does not say to Keep Refridgerated After Opening.

no alot of restaurants have their ketchup on tables and not in the fridge, it is just an option to keep it fresher longer.

No....But if you keep it in the refrigerator after the experation date it won't spoil for another week or so.

P.S. If you keep it in a warm place it WILL spoil.

catsup should be refrigerated because it lasts longer that way. Take it out a few hours before so it can, "warm up"! Look at the ex- date.. that'll tell you!

It has a sell buy date printed on the label, you can keep it unrefrigerated for up to 1 yr pass that safely. ***
