The suggestion to use the orange and some light blue-green sounds good. Or you could use the light blue-green with just some orange. There are alot of ways you could use both colors. Maybe paint three walls one color and use the other color for trim and on the 4th wall visa-versus. Use some accessories to pull everything together and if your old accessories don't match the new colors you could paint them or dye them to go with your new room. Just use your imagination and have fun!

It is important that the color in the different rooms around the house come together logically. Analyze each of the tones; determine which colors, and in what proportions, they complement each other to give the final result.
Here are ten household helpful hints for choosing room colors:
1 Brighten up the darker spaces by painting the walls in pale colors.
2 If you paint a high ceiling a dark color, will make it look lower.
3 A light blue or a gray make a small room seem wider.
4 Use the wall colors to mark off areas according to actives.
5 Red and reddish tones are bold, exciting colors which stimulate movement. They are especially suitable for work areas.
6 Yellows are warm, bright colors, ideal for dark spaces to make us feel cozy.
7 Green is essentially linked to life; it reminds us of nature and is perfect for interiors we want to connect with outside.
8 Blues are fresh, harmonious, and easy to combine. They remind us of vast extensions of sea and sky.
9 To make a room more radiant, you can paint the walls in light colors and introduce dashes of color through the furniture, complements, and ornaments.
10 Neutral colors like beiges and browns combine well with other tones and give the room a natural feel.
Color is clearly the most visible linking factor between separate rooms and is ideal for giving consistency to the decoration scheme of a whole house.

use the orange color as accents. You can buy a small can of paint of that orange you like and paint things in your room to match. Even buy pillows and whatever.
The walls would be really fun in that color, but not for a bedroom where you would want to relax. Do the light blue-green color on the walls. So relaxing and soft and pretty! I love the idea:)

What color or colors are really going to reflect who you are? Remember, you're the one who'll be spending the most time in your room.
(Personally, I'd select the two oranges; both selections are cool colors, but the light blue-green without a good design will give someone a seasick feeling.) Have a great day!

I think light blue and green are gorgeous together and would probably be a choice that you can live with a lot longer than the orange. Also, blues and greens are calming and orange is not.

You might be attracted to the orange colors, but you will tire of them more quickly than the more calming and pleasant blues and greens. Happy decorating.

It depends on what you like. I like blue green much more than orange and I would think that orange may give you a headache. You shouldn't put anything too wild on the walls or it may make you sick.
