Maybe she needs some enzymes to help digest food. Also rice is a great help to mix with food. It is easy to digest and usually helps the diarrhea. Also Kaopetec works for dogs also. Good luck. Hope this helps

Withhold food for 24 hours. make optimistic he's eating despite the fact that. After 24 hours, provided the vomiting has stopped, reintroduce food with boiled rice and fowl. And upload somewhat organic yogurt. despite the fact that, as this has been going on for 3 days, you extremely could see a vet - he could desire a process antibiotics if he's picked up some malicious program - and a vet can experience his tummy to substantiate he's no longer eaten something that has blocked his digestive tract. in case you notice any blood, in anyway, it extremely is an emergency. Labs get into all forms of stuff, and that i wouldn't rule out him eating something he wouldn't have had. i could hate to declare do no longer bypass to a vet, after which you lose him!!!

Try ground beef boiled with rice. It helps with diarrhea. I would wait before you take her back to the vets. She how she does for a coulpe of days. Then if you feel like she is getting better, call the vet. Good Luck with the dog.

I've seen a similar problem before. Do you have house plants? Or does he have access to plants in the garden?

Some plants can be quite poisonous to cats and dogs. Check for nibble marks or missing flower heads.

Your vet should have raised this as an issue already: If they haven't, get a new vet!

Well, I'd suggest finding another vet clinic, for a 2nd opinion, especially if all 3 times you've gone to the vet, it was the same vet.
As for care until you get to another vet, make sure there is plenty of water available.

How old is your dog? When you feed her give her only boiled chicken and rice. Do not add salt or anything else to the food. Take her back if she has finished her medicine and still is not better. Good luck.

Are you asking what could be wrong with your dog?

Have they checked for any masses/tumors? If they haven't done so yet, have them check for lymphoma. They should check her liver and kidney functioning (blood work should show this). Check for any masses (xray or blanking on the other...not sonogram but like that) in stomach.

my dad's chocolate lab used to be that way until a vet said that the dog was allergic to almost everything, but bland food. however, she can eat raw string beans & carrots as treats & loves them to death. i would have an allergy test done.

Her stomach could be upset from the antibiotic. Call your vet.

I would get a second opinion, or if your dog is very old and suffering like this, i would get her put down.
