It's been said a million times and despite what may be advertised healthy weight loss can only be achieved through a change in diet and exercise over an extended period of time.
That being said...there are some things that you can do to help rev up your weight loss and reach your goals.
First off, your diet needs evaluating. How many calories do you normally consume in one day? How many of the foods that you are choosing containing vitamins and minerals you need to feel healthy? Everybody has different caloric needs and you can find calculators online that will help you determine how many you need to function per day at your age, height, desired weight and energy level. You should also be taking a multivitamin and drinking water throughout the day as well.
Next, you should be exercising an hour or so at least 5 times a week. The best bet, in order to stay motivated, is to pick an activity that fits your lifestyle and interest you. Have a dog? Take it for a long hike in nearby woods. Live somewhere warm? Dive in for a swim. It doesn't take long and it will leave you feeling great.
Lastly, though it might seem difficult to start a weight loss program, think positively not only about how you'll look/feel after you've lost the weight, but also how much better you being to feel after you've started to live a healthier lifestyle.
A few other things to help you along the way:
Stand up straight...make you look slimmer without even trying!
Wear clothes that fit you correctly...forget what the tag says! Poor fitting clothing will only help to exageratte problem areas.
Stay motivated and you'll do great. Just make up your mind and go for it!

You need to change your eating habits, get A LOT of exercise, and this will surprise you, but lift heavy weights. Physical appearance is mostly the diet. Control your calorie intake by eating less, more times a day (3-4 hours). Dump the simple carbs (sugars, processed grains) for complexed whole grains. whole grain bread, cereal, noodles, etc. These carbs are good for you and should be the staple of your diet. Switching these should be easier than you think. Lots of fresh veggies and fruits....Cottage Cheese is GREAT for you.
The more lean muscle you have, the more calories your body burns without doing anything. Make sure to have every area of the body included (LEGS!!!!). Take in plenty of protein right after you work out. If you hit it hard, you could lose the weight, and drop sizes.

I was like that for a while too. I ended up becoming anorexic and having to go through recovery and gaining back every single pound. I still dream about the body I had, but now I know that getting it in an unhealthy way was wrong. Go slow and easy on yourself. Make it a lifestyle change. 2 pounds per week is the most you should lose, up to a max of three pounds. One pound of fat is equal to 3000 calories. Cut those calories through exercise and eating better. Understand that as you lose weight your body will need less and less food to maintain itself, and that it will take more intense exercise for results. The body wants to hold onto that fat, so it's hard to get rid of it. One of my favorite quotes of 'If being thin was easy, everyone would be Kate Moss.' It's going to take work and time, but you can do it if you stay healthy and strong. Good luck!!

If u have any money, eat Lean Cuisine meals about 5 a day. Try my exercise plan, and u will lose about 2 - 3.5pounds a week and your stomach will go down. When u r hungry outside those meals eat fruit and veggies (either fresh or steamed)
My plan:
M - walk and jog mix 45 minutes: 15 minutes of stretching
W -walk and jog mix 30 minutes: 30 minutes of jump roping (took a while to get to this continuous point, but I have great legs)
F- walk with 5lb weights for 45 minutes : 200 crunches in 4 sets of 25
T & TH- Billy Blanks Boot Camp 45 minutes (usually on these nights, depends on how eating went I will end my night with 200 crunches) If u do not have access to this video do a tv show on one of those fitness stations for as long as u can stand it.

Hi,
I'm on a diet too, i've lost almost 20 pounds over the last 2 months doing it the healthy way. What you want to do is for breakfast have something high in protein and fiber. I make myself a Banana Strawberry smoothie every morning before milking. Then for lunch, have something light, or eat your favorite foods but not alot of it, and then for dinner. Make yourself a big salad, i make my salad with a spring mix lettuce, carrots, cheese, bacon bits, pine nuts, sunflower seeds, croutons, eggs, and dressing. And make sure you exercise, get atleast 20 mins of exercise a day. I usually go on my ellipitcal for 30 mins and now im adding in jogging. Try to work out 3 to 5 times a week, i work out 6 times. That should help you lose weight with out using anything bad for you body. Oh yeah drinks lots of water, and cut out the soda.

If you want to lose weight safely, do yourself a favor and invest in a copy of "The Abs Diet." You can get it at any major bookstore and it's hard to miss -- the cover is bright orange. It's a common-sense diet and exercise plan that's 100% safe, doesn't restrict any major food groups, and has produced some impressive results (one guy lost 40 pounds in 6 weeks). Good luck!

don't take diet pills, they either don't work and waste money or make you sick.
taking diet pills is one of the most idiotic things young girls do to make them sick.
eat frequent, low fat, low carb meals, and exercise 3-4 times a week for at least an hour. And for the love of god, don't get into this stupid mindset that you have to be 110lbs--that's just ignorant, some people are bigger than others.
Safe weight loss is 1-2 pounds (not including water weight of course) a week. Any more than that puts yourself at risk for health problems.

it's not healthy to lose over 2 pounds a week. Just excerise daily and eat healthy. If you want a snack make sure it's veggies or fruit. Drink water instead of milk or juice.
