We've been friends for quite some time now. The question is, should I be honest and tell her how I really feel about her or should I just keep it to myself. I don't really mind if she says she prefers to remain friends, I mean, I'd be upset but it's not going to affect me too much. Ladies? Care to help me out on this one?

I say it never hurts to speak your mind. If you dont say it you will always wonder what could've been.......my real suggestion is how you say it.
Tell her you have enjoyed being her friend and that you would never want to ruin the friendship but the more you get to know her and her personality the more you like her. Tell her shes not only beautiful on the outside but also on the inside and thats what has really captured your heart.
Good luck.........just dont wait til its too late like on the movie - My best friends wedding.

Tell her, but don't expect anything from her. Looks like you stepped in a little late. If she is already involved with someone then don't interfere but you do need to tell her how you feel so you can get it off your chest. You never know-maybe she was waiting for you to say something because she felt it too. Give her the information and let her deal with it how she feels she needs to. Just don't be disappointed because she IS in a relationship so don't expect her to dump him for you. Make sure that if she says she likes you too that she gets rid of her boyfriend. That is the only way you will know if she truely means what she says. Don't let her play with your head and heart. If she doesn't show the same interest in you then move on. And next time speak up sooner!

Now sweetie I am sure you really care about this girl and you may like her alot but, I doupt that you really love her in a way more than a friend loves another friend. I think it would be a good idea to let her know that you have feelings for her but do it in a way that you wont harm her current relationship, if you really do care about her you wouldnt want to hurt her and causing problems in her current realationship would hurt her. The only reason I say that I doupt that you really LOVE her is because until you really are in a loving relationship with someone you dont know how you feel about them. It takes alot of being with someone and knowing that you can put up with them to be IN LOVE. I think you love the idea of her as a friend she is so fun and cool and just seems like the perfect girl Right? well yeah thats because you veiw her as a friend and would love to have a girl that acts like that but that there is the problem if you were to date her it wouldnt be like that anymore because things become more complicated and things dont go so smooth. So you need to let her know how you feel. If you do hit it off and she feels for you too then best of luck but remember things change she is going to start being needy and you will too and she will want things and exspect things because you are dating now and you are going to wonder what happend to my friend the one that could hang with the guys never got mouthy. So just remeber thing arent going to be the same exspect some changes but if it is ment to be it will work.

Nope. You never do that. Wait until she is done with her relationship then you step up. I would feel really awkward if I knew that my friend liked me especially if I was already involved with someone. It wouldn't feel right anymore. So wait until things come to an end with her and the man that she is with and when they do you make your move slowly. You do not want to seem like you have been waiting for it to happen so that you can jump right in.

You should tell her.. Im saying this base on experience. I loved this guy so much but he had gf. He loved his gf so much. They were together for 3 years. I told him that i love him ever since i realised that i started loving him. I didn't wait a second. Right after 1 year, he confessed his love & now he is still my bf. It doesn't matter who you love. The most important thing is that, is your love true. Always remember that true love always wins. Trust me on this.
