eating small meals more frequently, there is no 'type' of food that helps you speed up your metabolism, since metabolism works pretty much the same no matter what you eat--frequency can affect it though.
now if you're talking about lowering cholesterol (which can help with weight loss sometimes), lots and lots of fiber is good for that.

Any healthy food is good. You just have to make sure that you eat the neccessary amount. If you dont eat very much your metabolism with slow down. If you eat like 3 or 4 times a day and just eat good stuff and eat at the same time everyday, it will speed up. Also when you exercise your matablosim speeds up. Like just go for a 30 min. walk each evening. thats all it will take.

Love the pic so stuff the rest! Obviously people don't understand your sense of humour! I'm not sure which foods but I do know that eating a healthy breakfast does kickstart your metabolism. (Wholegrain cereal with skimmed milk and fruit is a good way to start the day).

Exercise is the best way to speed up your metabolism. A high-protein diet doesn't necessarily speed up your metabolism, but it makes your body work harder to digest your food. Expend more energy, lose more weight. Ditto that for whole grains and "good" fats like eggs, avocadoes, nuts, fish, olive oil, and flax seed. A word of warning: If you increase your protein intake, you will need to drink more water, but nutritionists say we should drink about a gallon a day anyway.

Look for foods rich in vitamin B such as
whole grains, e.g. wheat and oats,
fish and seafood,
poultry and meats,
leafy green vegetables,
beans and peas,
citrus fruits, e.g. oranges.
As stated in one of the previous answers, it also helps to eat more frequently but in smaller quantities.
Note that, eating simple carbs like white bread, donuts, sweets slows the metabolism down instead so try to avoid excess amounts of this.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
