Im actuualy gearing this queston towrards girls, i am not gay and im not in a realtionship with another guy, but the girl i like talks to me but than shys away after looking ast me in places like the swimming pool where i lifegaurd.

you are to self conscious if you have a Good personality and a good heart then your hairiness shouldn't be a problem and if it is she is shallow . you should never judge a book by it's cover

It could be that she has caught site of something more appealing (your crouch)..C'mon those shorts are a dead giveaway....she is probably trying to hold back sexual feelings....give her time and cover up...sexual tension sometimes makes us women uncomfortable especially when we have not locked into a real relationship yet.
