I think that an older partner has been where you have been so they are more mature on some matters. The younger I believe have a lot to learn. I date not on age but on personality on how they interact with me. Lately I have to admit that the older women (30-35) have a good head on their shoulders.

I tried dating guys younger than me, and my age, but they were all so immature! They didn't work out. I also dated a guy that was 10 years older...he turned out to be very controlling and treated me like I was a child...needless to say that relationship ended also. I'm now in a relationship with a guy now, who is 2 years older than me. We're getting married next year :) I learned that a guy just a little older is right for me, but that is just my opinion :)

My last 3 boyfriends have been younger, one was 7yrs younger, the second was 9yrs younger and my current one is 8yrs younger.
Previous to that they were both 1yr older.
I don't go out with the intentions of specifically finding younger men like some kind of cradle snatcher, It just happended that way!
I don't look at age as it clouds your judgment, I go for people with similar interests and people I can have a proper conversation with. I'd never go with anyone who saw me as a challenge, easy lay etc.
I started dating a guy before my current boyfriend who was 6yrs older than me, my best friend phoned me and he'd be sleazing all over her and telling her he'd always fancied her! I expected more from an older guy I must admit!

I do both, but generally prefer men no more than 2 years younger or 15 years older.

I also prefer older men, but they don't necessary treat women with respect. Respect is what is taught to you or what you have learned. Love making also not true. Not my experience, but my friends always deals with older men and she says it all depends on how the were taught and how they value a women how she really is.

I date women mostly younger then me. Older I would not go over 3 years. because then it would be too much of a age difference.

I guess the men that I have dated in the past are younger than me and i don't know why. They sweat n sweat you these younger guys it seems (at least w/me they did) and swindel you into falling for them. My honey right now is 23 yrs old and I am 30. I don't look it though. I look about 23 yrs old too. He thought he was older than me when we first met. I took a while for me to get into him because of the age gap. Now, we're in love, have a baby on the way and we are getting married. He was easy to train. j/k
