The list of things the new detectors can pick up is way too long to list here. Put it this way: If it's a weapon, an explosive, a hazardous material, something radioactive, or an illegal drug, you can bet your bottom dollar that the machine will pick it up.

The screening machines report nothing. They show what's in the package and the operator deciphers this information

I am told if can tell if you are sad, married, gay, financially bankrupt, a jerk, a voyer, a mind reader, a divorcee, someone who has skipped college, a bum.
I am not sure about some of the above though. Last machine I went through, it just read the metal in my shoe.

since many an year even a bunch of house keys are seen .metallic items seen .these are screened ,presently since there is a problem one sees all item are seen as all saw how checking is done for safety of all.

I don't worry about it, because I don't plan on packing things that cause a problem. Nothing liquid, nothing electrical, nothing sharp or in the list of unacceptable items.
